Membership is open to organizations active in the arts that are 501(c)(3) tax exempt and meet the tests of fiscal accountability, governance and programmatic impact required by the campaigns we enter.

The deadline for applications to the 2010 CFC has passed.

2010 CFC Application
The CFC application must be submitted in hard copy with an original signature.

2010 Application Checklist and Instructions
The Checklist and Instructions describe all the documents that must be submitted with the Application Form itself. We call these “Attachments.”

2010 State and Local Campaign Registration Form
Our sister federation, Partners for a Better World, assists our members to enter state and municipal campaigns. The State and Local Campaign Registration Form will allow Partners to identify states where you may be able to apply at other times this winter and spring.

Attachment A HELP:

Returning Members: Unless advised otherwise, we strongly recommend you update the Attachment A used in the 2009 CFC application. If you are unable to locate a copy of this document, please contact our office.

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

Pro Forma 990: Some groups may need to submit certain pages of IRS Form 990 as a part of their CFC application. The “Pro Forma 990” may be found here: Pro Forma 990

 

HOW TO SEND APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:

  • The 4-page completed application (with original signature) must be submitted as hard copy. Faxed and emailed copies of this document are not accepted.
  • Attachment A is preferred as an electronic document – either Word, Excel or a combination of the two. This will make it easier for our staff to help you if revisions are recommended.
  • All other attachments to the application may be sent in whatever format is most convenient to you. We strongly encourage electronic submissions
